Life drawing
The reindeer, mythological beast from the relms of sky. Your sacred bones carry me and guide me through dark nights and through the stench of death. As i ride you through the mist, i feel my flesh burning, cracking, turning to fire. In between the worlds you carry me, wild woman.

Acknowledgments
We are the colours, the threads, woven into the tapestry of life. The past lives on forever, woven into our dreams of the future and this creates the eternal Now. The matter of our bodies, the patterns in our minds, borrowed from our parents, borrowed from the stars, the sea, the rocks that came from the centre of the earth. All these experiences come together, within us. And we dance and twist together in this rainbow tapestry that is life.
The reds and the pinks and the purple borrowed from my mum
The light blue and the dark green from Teener, my other mum
The white from Cheryl, my rock.
This is my acknowledgment.

wool processes
Learning to spin wool is a meditative practise. Each stage must be done well so that the next will work. Carding the wool, brushing out the tangles, seperating the fibers and rolling them, gently showing it's future shape, then twisting them, stretching and spinning to strengthen them together, so they are ready to weave into the fabric, the interconnected patterns, one string weaving and looping itself, stretching to create the fabric of reality. We are the fibers, our thoughts, our relationships, our patterns. one thread of the fabric of life.
Metal welding
The inspiration for this image came from the solar eclipse, the uniting of the solar and lunar, masculine and feminine archetypes. There is space for a candle in the centre, the child of the sacred marriage, the pure essence to light the way. supported by the cross of the earth, the four elemental energies and also the sign of the crucifix.
Intuition
intuition is an old woman
the lines on her face are the contours of a mountain
a roadmap, leading who knows where to find who knows what
her thin lips curl with mystery
a story she might tell
bit by bit
when you are quiet enough to hear.
